The end of the beloved Swaddle

We started to swaddle Noah around 6 weeks of age in the Summer Infant Swaddle Me. Swaddling seemed to help him sleep in longer stretches throughout the night until 2 weeks ago when he was continually trying to break out of the swaddle.  He would get so frustrated trying to escape and wake up every hour or so.  We decided we would just let him sleep in his regular sleeper.  This caused him to wake up more (which we figured) because of his startle reflex.  He also had a ton of scratches on his face from his hands flying all over without the swaddle!  Noah is still sleeping in the Rock N Play even though he is getting too big for it.  We will have to figure out something new soon!  

We will miss you Swaddle!  We also miss the pacifier...Noah never really took to pacifiers but would take one when we bounced him to sleep.  Now he hates them and gags when we put them in his mouth!
