Noah's 1st Thanksgiving!

We enjoyed Noah's first Thanksgiving at my parents' house this year.  My brother was also there but my sister couldn't make it home so we Skyped with her.  Noah LOVES Skyping with her (he is quite obsessed with the TV, phones, and computer screen....taking after daddy!)

Another lazy weekend 11/22-11/24/13

Nick finished up his paternity leave this week (he could have taken up to 3 months but we just had him do 3 weeks :) ) and I will be off this upcoming week before we both go back to work December 1st.  It will be crazy and an interesting ride when we are both back to work!

Lazy Weekend 11/15-11/17/2013

Nick left yesterday for his Grandma's funeral out east so it is just Noah and me!  I worked Friday so Grandpa and Grandma watched Noah and I will work again tomorrow (Sunday) so Noah will be with the grandparents until Nick gets home.

This next week will be Nick's last week home with Noah.  I will take Thanksgiving week off then we both go back to work the week of December 1st (chaos!).  I am so excited for my sister to be home mid December-mid January so she can nanny Noah and make some money over her break!

The doctor told us Noah needed to start napping on his mattress (and not in our arms) a few weeks ago so when JoJo was here, she got him to start taking a few short naps in his swing.  Nick has continued with this during his time off so Noah is actually taking one to three 15-60 minute naps throughout the day...which is still not a lot, but better than none!  We will work on sleeping on the mattress down the road :)  baby steps....!

Wordless Wednesday 11/13/13

When I work days shift, Noah will sit in his bouncy seat while I shower at night and then he gets his bath when I'm done.  Here is a short clip of him in his bouncy chair:

Weekend Fun 11/8-11/11/2013

I was fortunate enough to have a 4 day weekend this weekend (Thank you, Veterans and all those that serve!).  We mostly just hung around the house playing with Noah and made a few trips to Grandpa and Grandma's of course.  

Noah used to HATE the swing but now will actually sit in it for a little while!  He especially loves to look at stuffed animals that we put in front of him while he is in the swing.

He also LOVES looking in mirrors.  We have a big wall mirror in our family room for him to play in front of and my parents bought a small handheld mirror for their house that they hold up for him and he smiles at himself!
