8 month update!

It's a few days early but I would rather be early than late!  Noah has changed so much in the past month.  He crawls nonstop and pulls himself to stand on everything he can.  He is doing more babbling and loves to blow raspberries.

He still HATES his car seat.  His reflux was improving but is now back and bad again...ugh.  Sleep is hit or miss...he has good nights and terrible nights.  There is still no consistency.  We let him cry but usually know when he won't go back to bed and then just feed him.  I am dreading when we have to stop bottles...the doctor told us by 9 months but that is not happening!  We will deal with it at 12 months.

Noah has 7 teeth now...4 on top and 3 on the bottom!

He eats a banana for breakfast, sweet potatoes for lunch, and avocado for a late afternoon snack.  We just started introducing pureed black beans this week!

Noah & mommy weekend

Since Nick is still gone, Noah and I spent most of the weekend at my parents' house.  They watched Noah so I could run errands, which was much appreciated!  I took Noah to the doctor today just to make sure he hasn't gotten an ear infection with his cold that he's had (I'm always worried he has one) but he did not.  His throat was red and irritated so the doctor just said he has a cold and to come back if it gets worse.  Noah and I of course had some wagon rides and park visits...even today when the cold and wind is back for the week...UGH!

Next weekend it will be a daddy & Noah weekend while I'm in NYC celebrating a friend's bachelorette party!

While daddy's away...

Noah can totally crawl now!  Not just move a little bit on his hands and knees but full on crawling.  I am sad Nick missed his first crawl but at least I could text him the video (Nick is traveling for work).  I'm sorry about the lighting...it was bedtime but Noah was refusing his bottle because he just wanted to practice his new trick!

While daddy is away, Noah also got his first cold.  He's been up more than usual each night coughing and getting snot all over himself.  Poor baby.  Hopefully it will clear up soon.

In the meantime, Noah's been enjoying...
